How do I order Net Orbit Supervision Software online?
Purchasing online allows you to instantly download after the process is complete. To do so, go to the secure order page. Follow the screens and enter the requested information. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and Paypal for online purchases. After your order completes you will immediately receive an email containing a link to download your software and instructions for installation/usage.
How secure is the order process?
All order pages use the latest secured technology certified by Thawte and ScanAlert to ensure 100% secure and confidential buying. The order pages are tested daily and certified HACKER SAFE by ScanAlert. A logo will appear on each order page to ensure that it is secured. Click the logo to verify the security.
Can I pay via Purchase Order?
Yes, you can pay via Net 30 day terms by going to the order page and selecting "Purchase Order" as Method of Payment. The next screen will show you the information you need to fax to us in order to start the Purchase Order. Although you receive the software after this process, the purchase order is a commitment to pay via your accounts payable department within 30 days.
Do you take orders by phone or mail?
Yes. To order by toll-free phone or mail, first go to the online order page to setup the order. Fill out the customer information section on the second secure page so it will be in our system. At the bottom of this page there will be a field called "Payment Type:". In this field, select "Phone" or "Mail" and then click "Next". You will then be taken to a page that gives you a reference number and a toll-free phone number to call or address to send the payment to.
What is your privacy policy?
It is company policy that our customer databases remain confidential and private. We have not, will not, and won't ever sell names to "spammers" or other parties who would like to use our databases to advertise or solicit their products or services. Our products do not collect any information from your system other than the information required for the products' successful operation. We also will not contact you in any way unless you request assistance.
Do you provide technical support?
Yes. After your purchase you will receive a premium software product with step-by-step instructions and online technical support for life. In the extremely rare case of a problem, our support team will give you step-by-step instructions to correct your issue. 100% Guaranteed.
Do I get a CD-ROM copy?
Although the software can be downloaded faster and you can burn a CD yourself, you can get a CD-ROM copy mailed to you as well for backup purposes. An additional charge which includes shipping is added at the order checkout. To order Net Orbit on CD-ROM, first go the order page. Check the "Add CD-ROM" box to check the box. When you order a CD-ROM you will still be sent the instant download upon purchasing. CD-ROMs are sent within 24 hours via USPS First Class Mail.
Do you provide software updates?
Yes. When you purchase any Retina-X Studios, LLC product, you will receive free minor software updates until the next major version is released, which typically happens once per year. At that time you can upgrade to a future version for a substantially reduced price.

Which versions of Windows is Net Orbit compatible with?
The program is compatible with any 433mhz or greater PC running Windows 98 / 98SE / ME / XP / 2000 / 2003 / NT.
Does Net Orbit work on my network type?
The software works with any standard TCP/IP Windows® based Network which can be wired or wireless. It is not compatible with thinclients.
Does Net Orbit need to be installed onto every PC in my network?
It is not required to install the software on all computers in your network. You install the Admin Application to your PC. Then the Client Application is installed to each PC you want to monitor. The other non-monitored PC's in your network do not interact with Net Orbit in any way.
Are my other software programs compatible with this software?
No matter which firewall software you use, it will not be a problem with Net Orbit. If it blocks the connection we can guide you through creating an exclusion in your firewall which will allow it to go through. Other software such as anti-virus and anti-spyware are not currently known to detect Net Orbit in any way, unlike competitors.
Will users know they are being monitored by the program?
The Client Application installs without user intervention. However this is for the benefit of the admin to install remotely without user interaction. The program is not a stealth program due to the fact that it is actually multiple tools. The Client PC will display a password-protected tray icon which gives the user access to the included chat program and file manager, but only if you tell them the password. No mention of monitoring is made if the user doesn't know the password. It is your responsibility to notify your employees of monitoring.
Does the software show in Add/Remove Programs list?
No, the client application does not show in the Add/Remove Programs list. It must be uninstalled manually by the admin using the instructions in the order email.
How does the network installation process work?
The admin creates a basic login script which executes the Client Application installer file on the PC's they want to install to. Once all PC's have performed the install the login script is removed. Full instructions are included in our user guide.
What do I do after the installation process is complete?
First, you should add the connections from Connection > New Connection. After you have added the connections you can select them by clicking some or all. Then click Window and choose how many screens you want to view at once. Then to view the screens, click Play. Then go to a window and right-click inside and choose the PC you want in each window. This is also the same way you perform any of the admin commands.
After installation I can not connect to a PC to view it.
If you can't connect to some or all PCs then a firewall is probably blocking the connection. Net Orbit bypasses the Windows XP firewall. However if you have another firewall it might be blocking the port you selected. You can add an exception for that port in your firewall to allow the port and file to use the port. If you are unsure how to do this then please tell us which firewall you are using and we will help.
After installation I get an error regarding an ocx file.
Net Orbit requires the Visual Basic Runtime files which is a free download from Microsoft. It provides OCX files essential for any software created in Visual Basic, such as Net Orbit. Most systems already have these files. If you get an ocx error then download the VB runtime installer.
Help, I can't get the program to function on my network.
