ZONE ALARM FIREWALL AND ACESPY CAN WORK TOGETHER

This page provides a step-by-step of how to bypass ZoneAlarm firewall and anti-spyware to make AceSpy function properly.

1. Go inside ZoneAlarm and click Advanced Options.
2. Disable "Automatic Spyware Treatment" by unchecking the box shown below and clicking OK.

3. Install AceSpy using the order link in your email.

4. Soon after install completes you will receive the Repeat Program Alert below. Click REMEMBER THIS SETTING and then click ALLOW.

5. Finally, go inside ZoneAlarm and do a spyware scan. It should not find anything, but if it does got to Anti-Spyware > Advanced Options > Exceptions and add an exception for the following folder:

XP FOLDER: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Retina-X Studios\AceSpy\
VISTA FOLDER: C:\ProgramData\Retina-X Studios\AceSpy\

AceSpy is now ready for monitoring.

NOTE: If you setup AceSpy to email logs every hour then after the first hour you will receive another "ZoneAlarm Security Alert" message. Simply click "Remeber this setting" and click "Allow". You should then receive no further alerts from ZoneAlarm.
